He has been God’s faithful servant for many
years. He is a devoted
husband, father and friend to many people.
If you ask Phil how he is doing, his answer is always,
“I’m Blessed.” He
gives God the glory for everything in his life and is a true
witness.
Since 1976 Phil
has lived in many different states and always being involved in the
church. He has served
as Sunday School Supt, Junior High SS teacher, Trustee, Adult SS
teacher, lay leader, administrative council chair, worship
committee, PPR, lay speaker, choir member, communion server to
shut-ins, Walk to Emmaus and the Kairos prison ministry.
Phil has been
married for 34 years. They
have two grown children Megen and Robert.
Together they have raised two 16 year olds, Stephanie and
then 2 years later Dale who were runaways and are today part of
their family.
He is currently
supporting his wife while she is in the seminary.
Phil is now
working on Kairos and Emmaus in Virginia near Norfolk.
Phil is still
hard at work following God’s lead.
He is definitely someone people can admire.
His walk with Christ is a true testimony for all.
He is a very strong believer that it all works together in
God’s time. His
attitude is always up even when he gets discouraged at times.
He remembers that it’s God’s work not his.
